Cuvaison’s Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the winery's estate owned vineyard, some 1,200 feet up the slopes of Napa Valley’s Mt. Veeder. The schisty, gravelly, well-drained hillside soils severely restrict the yields, producing Lilliputian quantities of solid, jam-packed Cabernet backed by vibrant acidity and fine, mountain tannins.
Cuvaison's Carneros Chardonnay comes from the winery's own estate in the southern part of Napa Valley. This cool climate vineyard allows nearly perfect conditions year after year to produce world class Chardonnay. Cuvaison's Carneros Chardonnay is super supple wine with a creamy, silky texture and vibrant, fresh fruit. Nicely balanced with a clean, satisfying finish.
Cuvaison's Single-Block wines represent the most intense expression of fruit grown on the winery’s Carneros Estate Vineyard. S Block Chardonnay is a small S-Shaped parcel on a southwest facing slope of our Carneros estate. Planted to the shy bearing Wente selection and constricted by the shallow clay soils, this block always produces a wine of distinct character. Certainly one of the plushest Chardonnays Cuvaison has ever crafted, a dense and concentrated offering with luxurious floral & fruit tones.
Cuvaison’s Carneros Pinot Noir comes from the winery's 400-acre estate in the southern part of Napa Valley. This cool climate vineyard allows near perfect conditions year after year to produce world class Pinot Noir. Cuvaison's Carneros Pinot Noir is an elegant yet complex Pinot Noir with a nice mix of red fruits and earthier, dark fruits as well as fig and anise.
Cuvaison’s Block F5 Pinot Noir occupies the western slope just above the winery’s Carneros Estate Winery. Planted to the Dijon clone 115 and fashioned by the chilling fog, the block always produces a wine of stunning character. A lush, sappy wine with dense strawberry fruit and notes of cola and sassafras mingle with vanilla and black cherries.
