"To me, Napa Valley means the ultimate getaway spot to indulge all FIVE SENSES with my husband. With our love of food, wine, and each other we can’t think of a more romantic backdrop than Napa Valley. Our perfect getaway would involve: SEEING the beauty in glistening dew drops clinging to grapes. Gazing at hills laden with vines and the wine swirling in our glasses. A breathtaking view of floating hot air balloons. Ending the evening watching a Napa sunset. HEARING the release of the cork. Listening and learning more about the wine making process. Experiencing the whirling sound of windmills warming the grapes at night. Experiencing the TOUCH of sorting stems and leaves at a small family owned hands-on winery. Clutching a crusty baguette, wedge of good cheese and glass of wine as we picnic. Retiring to the feel of crisp linen sheets at a locally owned bed & breakfast. The SMELL of the wine as the first sip is taken. Enjoying the scent of aromatherapy as we unwind with spa treatments. Most importantly we would awaken our sense of TASTE. Crisp Napa white wines, spicy reds, and sweet dessert wines all perfectly paired with meals from award-winning restaurants"
